Spell Checking - Microsoft Outlook Express 4.x

Once you have a message composed and are ready to send it:

  1. From the Tools menu, select Spelling.
  2. Select the appropriate spell checking options.
  3. Click OK when you are finished.

Configure the spell checking feature:

  1. From the Tools menu, select Options.
  2. Select the Spelling tab and check the options that you want to use for spell checking. Check the box next to Always check spelling before sending.
  3. Click OK when you are finished.

Note: Outlook Express 4.0 uses the spell checker provided with all Microsoft Office programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. If you do not have one of these programs installed, the Spelling command is not available.
